Ok, so this is my first blog ever. I actually thought of this before my DS (Drill Sergeant) time started but, I never got around to it. I guess it doesn't really matter because i'm only about 1.5 months in. Keep in my i'm a little tipsy as I write this. Most of the events that I write about will be true to the bone but, some I will change the names and maybe events as to prevent anyone from getting into trouble because I wanted to BWD! (Blog while drinking) Since, I am drinking please disregard my misspellings and bad grammar. I will probably not spell check. And one last thing if I offend you, please by all means stop fucking reading my blog. This is really just a diary for me to look back on one day and laugh at myself and ll of my craziness.
I the last month in and a half I have learned so much about myself as a leader. I tend to lead with my whole heart. Although we are not supposed to get attached to our Joe's I guess I am a little. I really care about the little shits! I will try not to use real names because one of the mother fuckers might run across this blog one day.
I have learned a bunch about myself as a mother and wife as well. All the things that I thought that I would be able to do, I can't. But, this past weekend which was president's day weekend, we spent the weekend in Springfield, took the kids to a movie and Japanese food twice (our favorite) and to incredible pizza. I thought that I would have time to come home and clean or do laundry, that has not happened yet. I thought that I would be able to give my daughter a bath at night so that my house husband would not have to worry about it. That has only happened a couple of times. Other than that MJ takes care of it. I really have time for nothing but waking up at the ass crack of dawn (0330) and working until about 1930-2000 if not later. By the time I get home my family had already eaten dinner and is ready for bed. They sit around the kitchen island while I eat and listen to my stories for the day. I love this little Jackson 5 with all of my heart. Then I do it all over again the next day.
I came into my first cycle (this cycle) on week 7 and the Joe's were doing advanced marksmenship. I still remembered how to this so I was straight. Some of the things that we do I am unfamiliar with and I just fall back a little and put my two cents in when I can. Hopefully this is the only cycle that I will have to do this. Next cycle I should be a pro, or sort of.
So far I have marched the company alone and called cadence, I also gave PT a couple of times. I am not perfect and there is always room to grow. But, I am pretty damn good.
Since this is the first entry, I will not bore you to death but, I will pick up next week when I have some funny as stories to tell about the Joe's, that is if I can remember how to get back to my blog. If I never post again you know what that means.
Let me catch up on some young and the restless and spend some time with my husband and kids!
Laters!!!!
